  • Device and Usage Data: We collect device identifiers and information (e.g. device model, OS version, advertising ID, unique installation ID) and usage data (such as app features used, session duration, app version, and crash logs).
  • Location Data: If you allow it, PlantPro may collect your device's location when using location-based features.
  • Camera and Photos: You can use your camera or select photos from your gallery within the app (for example, to identify plants). PlantPro will access your camera and photo gallery only when you explicitly use these features.
  • Subscription and Payment: If you purchase a subscription, we collect only the information needed to manage your subscription. Actual payment processing is handled by Google Play, the Apple App Store, and RevenueCat.

How We Use Your Information

To provide our core plant identification and care services, we share your provided photos and location data with trusted third-party AI service providers. This sharing is essential for delivering the following features:

  • Plant Identification: Your photos are analyzed by AI services to identify plant species, varieties, and characteristics.
  • Plant Disease Diagnosis: Images are processed to detect signs of diseases, pests, or health issues in your plants.
  • Personalized Care Recommendations: Based on the analysis of your photos, plant data, and location, we provide customized care advice, watering schedules, and maintenance tips tailored to your local climate and growing conditions.

Important: We only share the minimum necessary data (your photos and location data) with these AI services. We do not share your personal account information or any other identifying information with these third-party AI providers. The AI services process your images and location data solely for the purpose of providing plant identification and care recommendations, and they are contractually obligated to handle your data securely and in accordance with our privacy standards.

International Data Transfers

Some service providers may process your data outside your country of residence. Safeguards such as standard contractual clauses and recognized frameworks are used.

Data Retention

  • Account and subscription data is kept as long as your account is active.
  • Analytics and crash data may be retained in aggregate form for improvement purposes.
  • If you delete your account, your personal data will be erased immediately.
  • Certain purchase records may be retained only as required by law.

Account and Data Deletion

  • You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by going to: Profile > Edit Profile > Delete Account.
  • This will permanently erase all personal data from our servers.
  • You may also request deletion by contacting help@plantpro.online.
